[Solved] LKAppsVCheck.exe Auto optional updates

Messagede Lockszmith » 12 Novembre 2009, 10:32

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a command line switch for LKAppsVCheck.exe to include all optional updates automatically.

This way when running the automatic update process all optional updates will be included.

A settings in an .xml or .ini file would do great if there isn't any option with command line.

Thanks in advance

This cannot be changed (at the moment) but keep hope to have this feature available in Liberkey v4.6 or V5 ;-)

OK, how about an option to download all available update files for later installation, is this possible?

You can download all needed "Offline Setup" (.lks files) from this location, one by one for later install (as suggested by web page, please "enable file associations" before install)

Thanks.
I already knew that part, my question was about the "auto-update" part, but that's OK - I'll find a way to make it work for me :-), maybe an AutoHotKey script that will click the "Select All", if it's of any interest to anyone, I'll post my results later on.

Do any of you know how this mechanism is going to be changed for the next major version?

Hi Lockszmith,

Don't make an AutoHotKey script or something like that only because this function is already coded and present in Liberkey

We have never communicate with a "how to" about that (even if it is present for about 6 months). We will do it soon... (we need to write a small tutorial).

Given the information, I would be glad to write the tutorial myself, if you could point me to the right location - I'll test the solution and create a "manual page" or a "tutorial page" about how the tools work.

I'd be glad to participate.
