Stinger is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when dealing with an infected system. Stinger utilizes next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning, digitally signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizations.

This tool itself is portable and can be kept under "My Softwares".

No. Only the softs of the Portable applications catalog are automaticaly updating.

Stinger is meant for detecting a few specific viruses only whereas a more versatile Antivirus software called ClamWin is available for LiberKey. ;)

STINGER is a must have tool which we use every day in out computer stores. Would be nice if we dont have to update it manually all the time.
