Also getting same problem ...
I have liberkey installed on 2 different machines
Since 4.8 the machine under vista is not updating anymore... message : "une erreur est survenue en tentant de recuperer ....." do you have an internet connection

On my second PC under XP pro sp3 not having any problem....
Using the same Norton Internet security 2010 and also has been working correctly since then...
- don't have nay proxy neither window firewall
- I gave in Norton full access into firewall setting
-I have also deactivated Norton for short period

Deleted the whole folder Liberkey & reinstalled it...
