I have a problem with the automatic software update. When I go through the motion, it updates to the latest version, but when I look at the info panel that comes up when clicking on a menu item, it shows still the old version. If I start an update procedure again, it updates to the same version again. it never stops doing that.

I have read the forum item right on top of the forum page. I have not changed the menu between 'Audio' and 'Video'.

In desperation I re-downloaded 'LiberKey ultimate, and installed it on a different computer. I then went through the update procedure. Again same result - although the new version software is there, the info panel shows the old version, and the update procedure wants to download the same versions again.

I don't think I am doing something wrong - as far as I can see. How do I fix this problem?

Are you under seven or vista without administrative privileges ?
Try running Liberkey as administrator (rick click option over Liberkey.exe)

I am using Windows XP Pro SP3, and I run as an administrator.

This problem appear for all your applications ?

If you manually change something in the menu (like adding a category in My applications), is it saved after a menu restart ?

Yes,
It's seem that the problem don't come from here that's why we need to know if it's not linked to a write access or other restriction rights.

My applications isn't between 'Audio' and 'Video', so you can try to modify it.

In addition,
the LiberKey Menu v5 is here to resolve this type of dysfunctional.

I updated 'LiberKey' now to 5.0 Beta. IT WORKS!! Everything is ok now - it is SUPER.
