automatic install application

Postby giorgio g » 29 November 2010, 15:12

Please, what is the procedure to download and install automatically an application (after the activation of "file association") from Liberkey Portable Application Catalog web page ?

Thank you in advance

Lets assume you want to install Firefox. Here are the steps.

1.Liberkey Tools -> Enable file association

2.Browse to Firefox in the Liberkey Catalog

3.Click on the icon that looks like 'red circle in box'. Thats it

Liberkey installer automatically downloads and extracts the program. You can then launch it from the Liberkey Menu

thank you for your answer, but when I click on " Install .xxxx... on my LiberKey" or, at the left, the red circle in the box, my computer make nothing.......... (before I have activated "file association")

I came across another post reporting the same problem.
viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4610#p29328

Here is the quoted text

domenico wrote:i visit the online catalog using my unique key string and when i click on a link to download the app, nothing happens.
i have enabled the file association and i just don't get it why it is doing that, but i am able to use any app from the liberkey.

The problem is not with Liberkey servers. I just sucessfully installed SimpleSudoku. The game is awesome by the way :P

I request you to do the same thing that I said to the other poster

terminator1234 wrote:It might be your firewall that is blocking the downloads. Try disabling Windows firewall or any other firewalls and see if the downloads are working. If it still doen't work, the problem might be with your Liberkey configuration. Re-install Liberkey from scratch.

And keep us posted too Giorgio G

Hello giorgio g,

Another test :
If you download an "Offline setup",
does the installation works after a double-click on the LKS file ? (with file associations enable)
