DupKiller not Win7 ready

Postby user256 » 27 April 2011, 09:43

The included app "Dupkiller" for finding duplicate files doesn't work properly on windows7.

When searching the whole drive for dups, it get's into a endless loop while searching through "documents and settings", it seems that the 2007 released Dupkiller doesn't know how to handle Win7s virtual dirs.

However, it get's the job done if you specify only some folders to search. That can be pretty frustrating when you've got several drives each with multiple partitions on them.

Hello BrownClark.

You have posted six topics where you indicates that you use a same soft to remove all your unwanted duplicates files.
You have the right to think that this software is great. But if you persist, in agreement with the other moderators , I will have to banish you temporarily before considering a more definitive sanction, because we consider it's a form of spam.
