LiberKey does not automatically start on system start although enabled:

How could I make it start automatically?

Have you tried to uncheck and check again the option ?

Liberkey create a reg value at this Registry Path : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Value LiberKey with the path to LiberKey.exe.

Yes, I had tried a few times without success: uncheck, pressing "Apply" after checking the box, then pressing "Apply".

So that entry in the reg obviously does not work or is missing or so.

Not a very good solution but the simplest, you could add a shortcut to liberkey into this folder :

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

To know if the problem comes from your liberkey, you could download a blank liberkey and try from it if the problem persists.

I just wanted to try it with this version - LiberKey_5.8.1129.exe (http://download.liberkey.com/lbk/LiberKey.exe) - but after double clicking that file a message appears saying, it will install the program. Actually I thought LiberKey is portable, very strange. So I better will left it by creating such a shortcut in the "Startup" folder.

this is a normal process, it copies just the files to the folder of your choice, after the first start it ask to you to install an applications bundle, you click the cancel button to keep the liberkey blank (and save time too )

I just extracted it and copied it to the test folder.

So, now I have to close the old LiberKey and click the new LiberKey exe file and then apply the start with Win system start, I assume. And then restart the Notebook.
