Re: ZIP file repair utilityInteresting - will check this software if it really fixes corrupt zip files.
Re: ZIP file repair utilityUnluckily it didn't repair some of my corrupt ZIP archives. I had some ZIP archives which were corrupted. Few of them (those which contained only documents) were repaired with this program, but the rest archives couldn't be repaired. They were so crucial, so I tried some commercialware for ZIP archive recovery. I found SysInfoTools ZIP Recovery software best for me. It repaired all those corrupt archives which were unable to be repaired.
I just thought to share my experience here. Regards.
Re: ZIP file repair utilityIn case of a zip file damage, CRC (the cyclic redundancy check) makes zip archive inaccessible, and the files extraction is impossible. Zip File Recovery Tool Software was specially developed for overcoming CRC failures. The utility scans the corrupted zip archive and compares its current and original CRC values. Then the program repairs zip file structure and recovers data within.
edit by JP4U: I've removed the url because these software is a shareware. It already exists in the Liberkey some freeware for data recovery tools
