Does the installer also includes plugins or we need to install it separately..??

Let me add that, while all Plugins are included when you install AkelPad on LiberKey, you can choose which plugins you want to use (go to "Options" -> "Plugins")
Another advantage of AkelPad is that it has a very good User Manual. These manuals (there are two of them, one for AkelPad itself and another one for the Plugins) are available at: http://akelpad.sourceforge.net/files/docs/

If we're not careful then soon there will be lots of different apps in LiberKey, suiting each one's personal needs/desires.

Not all the software I use is in LiberKey (check my posts with suggestions), and I don't suggest everything I like - I only suggest something that has no similar in LiberKey or that is a far superior alternative. For instance, check my suggestions "Sweet Dreams" and "BKReplacem": awesome software, no similar in LiberKey. But not approved for LiberKey.

That's why there is a folder called "My Software".

How many text editors are there now?

I totally agree with you. Normally there are a few specific software's which I use - and have them placed under "My Software" Menu. But if the software is also available in "Liberkey default fomat" as an optional download then I would prefer to Install that as it can be updated automatically.

If someone Likes any software, he recommends it - and if it is included in LiberKey, it does not mean that it will be also included in the "LiberKey Ultimate". It will be available as an optional download.

There are several optional software's present as optional download to cater the need of each user.
