Auto delete of applications no longer in catalog

Messagede zinger » 05 Avril 2013, 08:16

I find Liberkey extremely useful but am sometimes presented with an application not being installed even though I see the entry in the Liberkey window.

When I click the icon and try and launch the app I get an "Application not found" dialog window, and the icon is a generic icon.

Originally I installed all the Ultimate suite and uninstalled those applications I didn't want.

I always check for updates and select all that are presented.

How do these apps disappear without any intervention on my part?

Is there a way of seeing what apps I have in my Liberkey which are no longer part of the catalog?

Oh, I run Windows 7 Pro (32 bit) on a HP workstation.

Many thanks in advance.

Until last year, the list of removed applications could be seen in an history page but vagabond removed it last year and we not removed any other applications after the history page removal.

Some of them was not updated anymore and already have a replacement, was no more in the catalog due to licensing issue, new updates cannot be portabilized anymore, etc

For instance:
CDEx : removed because the latests releases were bugged, replaced by Freac
OpenOffice : not removed but not updated anymore, replaced by LibreOffice more active
Fastone Capture : not removed but not updated anymore due to licensing issue, replaced by PicPick, Greenshot

etc.
