Sarting Chrome or Opera from Liberkey USB always starts IE

Postby larsi15 » 04 September 2011, 20:14

Hi,

I recently installed Chrome, Chromium and Opera on my Liberkey USB stick. Now every time I try to launch any one of these, it starts my Internet Explorer with a content like this in the address field:
http://%22j/LiberKey/Apps/Chrome/App/ch ... profile%22

Anybody any idea?

Thanks,
Lars

They are not broken as this is not real HTTP links ;-)

Could you please also check presence of file LiberKey/Apps/Chrome/App/chrome/chrome.exe

Please also check your windows file associations (not KeyFileAssoc ones), you haven't associated .exe files to iexplore.exe application

Hi Dji,

I've checked the presence of chrome.exe, it's there.
And .exe isn't associated with IE.

It is working for all other applications I installed, also for Firefox, only Chrome, Chromium and Opera show this strange behaviour.

Thanks,
Lars

Did you use shortcuts ?
Did you try to run directly the corresponding LKL.exe or did you only use the Liberkey shortcut ? (check it anyway)

I also tried using the ...LKL.exe directly with the same result. If i try to start eg. chrome.exe directly, it gives me the same behavior except the --user-dir switch is missing in the pseudo url.
