LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta availableLiberKey Menu 5.0 beta availableHello everyone,
Here is an important step in the evolution of the LiberKey project: the new LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta is available for testing. The LiberKey Menu is a central element of the future LiberKey 5.0. It will provide better interoperability between different tools that make up this platform (LiberKeyPortabilizer, applications update, file association, etc.). After a long period of development, testing and pre-beta, it is now possible to invite participation from those who wish to correct defects not yet identified. The goal is to achieve a stable final version. In order to simplify the testing process, you will be able to do so directly from your current LiberKey. Indeed, the new menu will install directly into your LiberKey and import your shortcuts (even those present in "my programs"). If you decide to use the new menu today, an addition of software and / or an update will be in the old and the new menu simultaneously. Thus, you can always revert to the old menu. Thank you in advance for the time you devote to the discovery and testing of this new LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta. Regards. Team LiberKey ------------------------------------ How to install the LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta? - Download the following patch: LiberKey 5.0 final available - Start your LiberKey - Run the patch previously downloaded, your LiberKey will be automatically detected - Apply the patch - After applying the patch, the choice between launching the LiberKey 4.9 or 5.0 beta is available - When you first launch the version 5.0 beta, an update of the menu is proposed and must be applied - After the menu update, the automatic import of your old configuration is proposed (together with all your old applications shortcuts from LiberKey 4.9) ------------------------------------ Last update - 2010-09-03 - read this message - read this message - read this message

Re: LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta availablehi again !!!
it seems (to me) that the beta could be easily be a final release .... (dont know about other users with other systems) I cant find any bug until now ... overall i went thought the most of settings and did many many different things with no problems!! I only need to check the app/liberkey update system ! new updates have to released for that one ...but guys really really great job!! so exited!
Re: LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta availableI can't find any bugs either. The menus look great, the menus are fun to watch and the clock in the top right is cute.
Only thing I am concerned about is all the clicking backward and forward between menu options to get at various files. I understand that it is less cluttered to hide everything except what you are looking for but sometimes I would like a list mode to see what else is there in the tree. Great job people, kills the daylights out of the *other* menu from elsewhere:):):)
Re: LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta availablethere is a list option
Edit wrong /// click at the small square icon on the top/right of the list this is what i did too ... dont like the floating menu so much
Re: LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta availableHello, tested the new beta so far but couldn't find any bugs or problems. Great job!
BTW: it would be great, if the program window is send automatically to the systray after 5 min of inactivity. Is this possible? Kind regards from Dortmund

Re: LiberKey Menu 5.0 beta availableSorry moaven, I must have been blind as a bat not to see that before. Whew!!, I like both modes and in my opinion, this is the best portable menu of it's type.
I can't help myself updating it with apps all the time.
