SpaceSniffer is a freeWare (donations are welcome) and portable tool application that lets you understand how folders and files are structured on your disks. By using a Treemap visualization layout, you have immediate perception of where big folders and files are placed on your devices. Treemap concept was invented by Prof. Ben Shneiderman, who kindly permitted the use of his concept into this tool.

Start a scan process and see the overall situation. Bigger are the elements on the view, bigger are folders and files on your disk. You need more detail on a big folder? Just single click on it. The selected element will be detailed with its content.

Yes really great, you should add-it to Liberkey, I've jute submit it on the french forum. Glad to see that another user has suggested it.

You're right, this tool is great.
But there is already a similar tool in the LiberKey Catalog.
Filemanagement -> Disk Space Tool -> FilePro

Yes, indeed, FilePro has similar functionality but if you look for a fast Treemap visualization, SpaceSniffer is much faster and convenient with cleaner interface. FilePro has some other visualizations though.

I agree spaceSniffer is more slim and performant.

The advantage of SpaceSniffer compared to the other space managers is that the results update in real time whereas the others need you to reload the whole display each time something is added or deleted.
