Need some help installing new softwareWell, I haven't taken French for about 5 years now, so I haven't been able to find a good forum topic to solve this, but I can't figure out how to add software.
If someone could respond in English or Deutsch, that would be great!
Re:Need some help installing new softwareHello mahimahi42 and welcome on this Forum
Do you want install a software from the page All Softwares or from your personnal software's collection? From All Softwares: All is writted on the top Click on this icon to install or update the software > Launch your LiberKey and Files associations (menu LiberKey Tools -> Enable files associations) and finaly just click on Install now on my LiberKey or Download setup package. From your personnal collection: Add the software's folder in MyApps folder. Open Liberkey 4.4 menu and drag-n-drop the executable in "My softwares" category. Right click > Properties > Edit path with ..\..\MyApps\Your_software\Your_softaware.exe
Re:Need some help installing new softwareHi!
I downloaded the install package, now I have a file with an extension of 'lks' sitting on my hard drive. What do I do with it? I tried double-clicking on it, but Windows doesn't know what program to open it with (and neither do I!). I think LiberKey is a great idea, but for people who don't understand French, it's very difficult to use. You need better documentation in other languages. I tried to search for help on the forum, but I didn't have much luck because of my poor French. David.
Re:Need some help installing new softwareHi, you need to "Enable files associations" in "LiberKey Tools"
Re:Need some help installing new softwareYes, I did that, but it still didn't work. I'm running under Windows XP Pro, SP 3. Any other ideas? Could it be a problem with my anti-virus software that's preventing it from working?
Re:Need some help installing new softwareTry to put the lks on LiberKey\LiberKeyTools\Installer\LkInst.exe
Re:Need some help installing new softwareThanks, that worked!
