Dirprint extracts a list of all files in a certain folder into a txt-file.
there must be likewise tools with more features and languages, but Dirprint is the tool I use right now

The same can be done using DirHTML as well as using Q-Dir's export feature.

Directory listing can also be saved to text file using Explorer++
