Hi,

It seems that MyDefragGui is no longer available in Liberkey :-( . For a good reason I presume ?

Hello,

MyDefragGUI includes MyDefrag version 4.1.2

As you can see on the MyDefrag Version history, a lot of improvement has been performed between release 4.1.2 and the last one 4.2.6
Note : the 4.2.x branche now includes a basic GUI which could be redundant with MyDefragGUI.

So, I have been in contact last week with the author of MyDefragGUI in order to know if he plans to make a new release. He has decided to stop the development of MyDefragGUI for reason of redundant aspect and no more possibility to select the correct language from the exe.

MyDefragGUI was a great program but we have decided to remove it only because development has been stopped.

Yes, but we have to respect the MyDefrag license (point 6) :
You may use and include MyDefrag v4 in other products, provided that you include a full copy of the original MyDefrag v4 distribution.

The license was respected with MyDefragGUI (it was provided with the original MyDefrag distribution file) and on first run, myDefragGUI decompress MyDefrag distribution file.

The best way in term of reliability is to have the distribution file already decompressed in LiberKey. To be able to do that, we need a specific agreement with the author. We will send him a request soon.
