Hi all,

I'm trying to disable CheckLiberKeyNews.

I tried with LiberKey Configuration - LiberKey Tools un-tick News but, everytime I run LiberKey News is ticked again.

I tried, also, to change the parameter from "yes" to "no" in user_pref.xml but, when I run LiberKey again it will be resetted to "yes" automatically.

Please check the read/write attribute of the xml file and also the read/write attribute of the whole LiberkeyTools folder

Checked xml and folder and there aren't Read-only files.

Still doesn't work.

I'm using LiberKey version 5.5.1223 on MS Windows XP Professional SP3.

In the log file there are 2 errors:
08.52.40 | 1674 | Error | Error 5 (Invalid procedure call or argument) in Sub frmNews.picNewList_MouseUp
14.31.20 | 13D0 | Error | Error 5 (Invalid procedure call or argument) in Sub frmNews.picNewList_MouseUp

Could be something related with my problem?

Hi Dji,

After the update to the last release 5.6.0128 the language was set to English and if I re-change it to Italian, when I restart Liberkey the language is English once again.

Of course I'm still not able to change the other setup parameters, when I restart Liberkey they're sat up with the old values.

With LiberkeyMenu closed, opens Liberkey\LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\user_prefs.xml file and modify content:

Code: Select all

      <Language file="Languages\LiberKeyMenu_it.xml">it</Language>

Does it works ?

Did you install Liberkey with a different username than you run it ?

Changed user_prefs.xml file as suggested, but it doesn't work.
When I restart Liberkey user_prefs.xml file is reverted to the old one.
