Update Failures

I have recently begun to experience update failures. During an update session, some updates fail, but others do not.
The message I get only says there was an error, no details as to the nature of the error. Is there a log file where I might find out more?
Something additional that may be relevant. I just tried to install a new application, but when I tried to run the File Associations program, nothing happened. When I tried running KeyFileAssoc manually, I got an error message stating that KeyFileAssoc.xml was not valid. There was no KeyFileAssoc.xml file. I made a copy of KeyFileAssoc.xml.v3update.001.bak, renamed it KeyFileAssoc.xml and was able to run the File Associations program and successfully install the new application.
I'm not really clear on what's going on here, but I can see that this could impact updates as well as installs. I will see what happens next time I have an update.

Hello mpitchfo.

You can enable log of LiberKey Installer in the file
\LiberKeyTools\Installer\LKInst.xml.
Replace line:
- Code: Tout sélectionner
<LogToFile>no</LogToFile>
by :
- Code: Tout sélectionner
<LogToFile>yes</LogToFile>
During next update/installation a folder \
LiberKeyTools\Installer\log will be created.

This problem appear after an update of LiberKey platform or other special event ?
Thank you for your detailed feedback.

+1!!! (annoying)
Liberkey worked fine until now. After updating the apps (i.e. Thunderbird) the (fav)icon disappears, Liberkey says: no such file ("Datei nicht gefunden"). After "deinstallation" (without removing the appfile) and app-search Liberkey finds Thunderbird again, but can't start/fix it nevertheless.
Cheers
