I had used my liberkey on my mothers computer to uninstall with revo, when i reconnected my usb to my own computer it wanted to do a system file scan, on completion of the scan 2 file fragments were found. However i now have a problem as the liberkey v 5 will not function. Liberkeymenu.exe appears in the Task Manager, however there is no activity shown on the desktop no check for updates, no launch of the auto run apps and no appearance of the liberkey menu. Liberkey v 4.9 however does still work. I want to get v5 to work again by just reinstalling v5 however i had added my own software to the liberkey menu and would prefer to not have to add it all again.

so can i please know what files i will need to back up so the menu list does not get overwritten when reinstalling

Can you provide the content of \LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\Menu\mostused.xml

You can find Menu settings and theirs backups in \LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\Menu
Do a copy of \LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\localapps.db.xml and \LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\bak\ too.

Try with downloading the latest LiberKey version.
During the step "Select Destination Location", specify the path of your LiberKey.
