No hot screen edges in 5.0?

Postby Pootle » 03 September 2010, 20:33

I have Liberkey set so that the menu pops up when I move the mouse to the edge of the screen. It's very handy and quick.

I can't find this in 5.0. Has it been removed?

It was not (yet) re-implemented in fact ;-)

I'd really love this to be re-implemented. I was worried it had been forgotten about, because it's so convenient opening things from the quick menu rather than bothering with the window.

Please, let's have it back!

On the main tab of the main menu, right-click on the little Liberkey icon and select "Floating menu". You can dock this to the corner of the screen, and it behaves very much like the hot screen edges.

LiberKey is an amazing platform, it has become an indispensable part of my work software toolbox, and I sincerely thank all involved in its development and making it available.

Is there an estimated or intended date in the future where this feature may be re-implemented?
I for one would be most willing to chip in a donation towards having this feature re-realised, such is the level of convenience and speed to which I had become accustomed.

Regards,

-Matt.
