No updates automatically? Winmerge about 4 years old?I just noticed by random, I have been using an about 4 years old version of Winmerge (2.12.4.0) on the LiberKey platform. Unbelievable.
Why is such an old version offered by LiberKey? And why are many apps on LiberKey - there seems to be a lot of old programs - not updated? Last edited by Dji on 26 March 2013, 12:18, edited 1 time in total.
Windows 10 Version 6.2 (Build 9200) Home, 64bit
Newest stable LiberKey
Re: No updates automatically? Winmerge about 4 years old?According to official website:
The update was made last month, not 4 years ago, agree ? As I said previously, if you are using an application which need an update sooner than the others, you can submit its name in this topic and I will try to incorporate it sooner in our "update todo list" processus I will add (and update) winmerge soon "Si boire des coups, aller au concert ou au match, ça devient un combat

Re: No updates automatically? Winmerge about 4 years old?Thank you, Dji.
Sorry, I would like to, but I cannot. The WinMerge version of LiberKey I had / have (of course I have checked "to let LK automatically update), was / is WinMerge 2.12.4 (stable) released 2009-06-09, so about 4 years old, I would say. The newest stable WinMerge version is this one, WinMerge 2.14.0 (stable) released 2013-02-03 (https://sourceforge.net/p/winmerge/news ... -released/). And yes, of course I agree in that, WinMerge released the latest stable version last month.
Thank you, that is a good idea; but one big advantage of such a platform like LK or PortApps (they have the newest version of WinMerge, sorry, I must mention this) for me is, not to have to sorrow about (missing) updates, so...but, good to know.
OK, many thanks. I already did so too. Many thanks. Windows 10 Version 6.2 (Build 9200) Home, 64bit
Newest stable LiberKey
