Running Liberkey from a network Drive

Postby acorps » 12 October 2010, 11:23

Up until now, I have been running Liberkey across a network from a mapped drive... but now with v5.0.171 it isn't allowing it.
Ever since version 5 and the fancy animated new menu I've been experiencing difficulties with Liberkey, making me rethink its usefulness. (another issue I had was that all the popups for software updates were in French despite language settings being set to English)

sigh... :-(

Hello acorps.

In this context, you can have corruptions of configuration files if you have multiple instances (LiberKey and applications).

You can disable this protection by adding following line in the file
\LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\LiberKeyMenu.xml
Code: Select all
<Config>
   (...)
   <EnableNetworkStart>yes</EnableNetworkStart>
</Config>

it is at your own risk.
No support will be provided for this context of use.

What is the content of your file \LiberKeyTools\Installer\LKInst.xml ?

Thanks for the config line... thats worked perfectly.
my liberkeytools\installer\LKInst.xml file reads:

<LbkInstaller>
<Language file="LKInst_lng.xml">en</Language>
<AppsRoot>..\..\Apps</AppsRoot>
<LogToFile>no</LogToFile>
</LbkInstaller>

<Language file="LKInst_en.xml">en</Language>
<AppsRoot>..\..\Apps</AppsRoot>
<LogToFile>no</LogToFile>
