Error message when closing LiberKey

Postby Dirki » 10 June 2010, 00:49

When I close LiberKey (or e.g. also when I update it or its applications) this error message appears each time:

How could I avoid messages like that?

Hello,

Maybe in link with your other message. Please install normally a LiberKey (basic for example).

Let me know if the problem is still present.

Many thank opendev.

Please install normally a LiberKey (basic for example).

I did, it works fine, no error message.

Everything will just work fine if you move all subfolders from "Liberkey\{app}\" into "Liberkey\" (and then delete empty "{app}" folder)

I did it like that, but the error message still appears.

Thanks again, nice greetings, Dirk

I installed the entire LiberKey Ultimate absolutely new and the right way, but at least the error message occurs again.

Did you tried to run it as administrator ? (use right click option)

Yes, the first time (after installation) I start LiberKey I have to start it as an Administrator (otherwise the menu is blanket, won't start properly). The following times I start it with a click on a desktop icon or a button in FreeCommander.

The first times after installing the message didn't appear. And when I deactivated once ( in Properties) for Unlocker not start at program start the message didn't occur for some time, but now it occurs again.

And meanwhile the autorun option doesn't work anymore, so LiberKey doesn't start automatically after starting the Notebook.

This is why it don't work: you install it as administrator, so all files were created with elevated account.
The next times, "normal" user can't update some of "elevated" files.

Let us know if you still have the issue while running Liberkey as administrator (quite sure not !)

Thank you Dji,

I did not install as a Admin, I just double clicked the installer and all went well. But the first time I started LiberKey after installing by double clicking the start file (LiberKey.exe) the menu was blanket, so I opened LiberKey.exe as Admin and it started and worked well. And the next time I started LiberKey by clicking a link to LiberKey.exe.

Okay I will watch it...by the way, how can I start LiberKey by clicking a button or icon with administration rights automatically (and not to set these administration rights each time)?

Many thanks again, nice greetings, Dirk
