"enable file associations" is it turned into "disable file associations" ?
Is there a "KeyFileAssoc.exe" in your process list ?

Check you have a folder named Liberkey\Apps\KeyFileAssoc and corresponding KeyFileAssoc.exe application inside it.

If not the case, you have a "corrupted" installation of your Liberkey (keep your attention on your Antivirus software, most of the time, such problems cames out dure to them).

Now, to fix your issue, you just have to download and install (but don't start it) into another forder, the Liberkey platform.
Then, just copy/paste Liberkey\Apps\KeyFileAssoc folder from Liberkey platform installation into your "corrupted" Liberkey installation.

Hi,

I had this problem too. Now my keyfilesassoc works again, however, all of the associations that were there before are now absent.

Can I run a program to automatically rebuild the associations config based on my installed apps?

Maybe I'm missing something... I don't see any patches. I activated "beta channel" as described in the post you linked to above, and performed another check for updates.

There were no updates available. After checking, I find that I am at the latest build (1005).

Where is this patch you describe? And what program/menu-option do I execute to perform the rebuild?

Thank You,

Yes, the build 1005 published today is the latest and available in both channels.
How did you update from your version to build 1005 ?

The rebuilding is automatically done by the patch.

There is no change for your files associations ?

Hello,

How did you update from your version to build 1005 ?

When I ran LiberKey this morning, there was a platform patch available. I installed it using the LiberKey interface.

There is no change for your files associations ?

The platform associations are now present: lbkinst, LAL, LKS, 7Zip (I might have done this one manually yesterday)

I also performed the associations update for one of my apps (AIMP) manually via the LiberKey "manage applications" interface, so those are there.

The rest of the associations for all of my other apps (there are quite a few) are not present.

* FYI: You might not remember, but I am the user with the admin locked-out registry hive issue:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes http://www.liberkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4209

This hive is locked on the machine I have performed the update on. The associations update may work on another machine the way you expect it to. I don't know.
