PortableApps (paf) file supportI just upgraded to LiberKey 5.5.0603. In the update list I saw that LIberKey now has a menu item to support the installation of paf files. I cannot find such a menu item. I am interested in, what to me, is a new ability for LiberKey. Could you provide a little guidance. Further, could you provide a short description of what is meant by supporting paf files. For example, can LiberKey monitor them and update them as it does with LiberKey? Where does it install them, to "MyApps"? Any information will be appreciated.
Re: PortableApps (paf) file supportI agree. How does LK manage .paf apps? Needs more explanation.

Re: PortableApps (paf) file supportHello,
Simple: - launch LiberKey menu - launch a *.paf.exe - start the installation process normally Some wizards for the rest of the process will be displayed You can still only drop all your portable collection to the MyApps LiberKey folder. To get all these apps in the LiberKey Menu : - LiberKey Tools - Manage Applications - Add / Remove programs - Add applications => From "MyApps folder..." Click on the first icon to install all applications
Re: PortableApps (paf) file supportAre there any plans to add full Auto Install/Update support for PA.com Apps?

Re: PortableApps (paf) file supportI'm also interrested by the auto update feature avalability for paf applications. Is liberkey able to do that right now ?
Re: PortableApps (paf) file supportWhy LiberKey und PortableApps.com don't work together?
Re: PortableApps (paf) file support
Just run the PortableApps updater, it will do the rest.
Search the net for "PortableApps vs LiberKey" I think you'll get a lot of history, it's not that it's a bad idea, just a touchy subject, that turned out ugly. The current state is not "perfect" but this "statuesque" is the best we have right now. This is directed to OpenDev and the rest of the LiberKey devs.:
I personally hold all my paf.exe apps in a subfolder of the LiberKey/MyApps folder, more specifically: LiberKeyRoot\MyApps\PortableApps\<Portable App Name subfolder> And although I love the automatic take over of the installation process you designed, I wish I could direct it to install to my subfolder.
