Offline Patch as archiveHello,
I use liberkey at home and at work. At work I can't update over the net because the update gets blocked. : / In addition I am not able to download the offline patch because our proxy denies downloading of files with '.exe'-extension. -.- (Yeah we are very restricted in here) Would it be possible to make the patches downloadable as .rar/.zip? greetings
Re: Offline Patch as archiveOffline patchs are not .exe but .lks (which are moreless .zip files) so using .zip won't solve your issue

Re: Offline Patch as archiveHello, thanks for your response.
For example, the download link of an offline Patch: "http://download.liberkey.com/offline-patch/lbk_20111223160000_MultiLng.exe" The .exe-extension prevents me from downloading. If it would be a .rar i would be able to download the file.
Re: Offline Patch as archiveOoops sorry, I misunderstood your request...

Re: Offline Patch as archiveThought so, no problem ^^
Belike there are not much people with this restriction problem Would be nice for me.
Re: Offline Patch as archiveSuch restrictions are really annoying and useless, in my opinion.
I would try following if you have access to your emails or have an email account at work: Download the patch at home, change the extension or compress it and send it via email to yourself. Then download it at work.
Re: Offline Patch as archive
jep
Yeah, always downloaded the file @home and used the only online-Storage I could find which was not blocked (which is also blocked know ) So yeah, maybe I find another online storage which the filter dont know yet or i'll stick with emailing. ^^
Re: Offline Patch as archiveIn that particular case, did you try to use a modified URLs to pass firewall wall (entering them on a browser address bar instead of "http://download.liberkey.com/offline-patch/lbk_20111223160000_MultiLng.exe")? For example, inserting a "?" character in the end of URL:
