MikTeX

Postby derpeh » 06 May 2012, 15:46

Languages: En
Compatibility: Windows XP/Vista/Seven, Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows Server 2003 R2/2008 R2
License: Freeware.
Author's description:
MiKTeX (pronounced mick-tech) is an up-to-date implementation of TeX and related programs for Windows (all current variants). TeX is a typesetting system written by Donald E. Knuth, who says that it is "intended for the creation of beautiful books - and especially for books that contain a lot of mathematics".

My opinion:
Would be great to have a portable TeX-Compiler in Liberkey. Additionally we would need a TeX-Editor such as TeXnicCenter or TexStudio to have a complete portable TeX-Environment on Liberkey.
