I mean if you "import" file associations into Windows (using DISM or not), they will remains while you don't remove them explicitly ;)

Ah, I understand, it is my own Notebook I want to import the associations to. How could I do it the best, import them to Win 10?

Sorry, haven't time to do it myself but I imagine if you can "translate" the exported XML file from KFA to "windows form", then you can follow instruction you provided into your link form Microsoft Website
