Advantages:
Since PS3 only supports removable media formatted in FAT32, if you want to play a movie that is bigger than 4GB, ie. any HD movie, you will need to split it and maby even reencode it. This program is just click&go, select the movie, the splitting you want to use, FAT32 (4GB) for example, and it will split it and automatically detect if it will need transcoding and do it only if necessary. It works marvelous and when installed just takes around 10MB of your harddisk.
