Getting error occurred during data decompression !

This patch includes the following versions of LiberKeyTools:

- LiberKeyPortabilizer v2.0.388
- Language files: Romanian (ro-RO), Slovak (sk-SK)


Tried to unload Lkmenu and install over on my C: drive - still getting error.
Any other advice - I have several programs installed and updated my firefox/thunderbird with custom add ons.

close all opened LBK applications, then update liberkey

Tried that - even made sure that auto start is off then rebooted and reinstalled version 5.8.1129 over the existing C:\Liberkey directory - run and it quickly says there is a new update when select that still comes up with same - Error occurred during data decompression !
Also tried to install in c:\liberkey2 as a test - with same results - new update then error box...
The last update 5.8.1114 updated just fine about 11/10/15 - running fine until today when I noticed 6 apps need to be updated - 5.8.1129 is required for these updates.

Other ideas?

antivirus can hang too longer liberkey's exe for its analysis, maybe...

Only have Microsoft Security Essentials running and I have selected c:\liberkey to exclude as well as turned of the real-time scanning.
Removed all of my temp folder and removed C:\Liberkey directory.
Reinstalled from your newest download (version 5.8.1129) to C:\Liberkey directory FRESH install.
Did not download suite and Liberkey informs there is an update already.
Selected yes to update and looks like it downloaded 512k then comes up with the same error.

Don't seem to know of any other options on my part - will keep playing and will post if any new results.

I also can't install the new liberkey (5.8.1129). I'm not sure if I'm getting the same decompression error though, since I see no errors at all. I just see the progress bar go to about 80% and disappear, and then nothing else happens (not even any disk activity).

I saw this problem once before several versions ago, and in that case I was able to solve the problem by downloading the install program and running it manually.

But this time that's not working. I tried downloading the install program and running it manually, and it appeared to work, but when I started Liberkey it just showed the same icon indicating an update is available, and when I check the version (on the site or from my Liberkey) it says I'm still running version 5.8.1114.

If anyone has any ideas what to try, or where to look for errors that might give a clue, it would be much appreciated.

FYI -
I am fixed - but only by brute force..
I have had several little issues and decided to reinstall windows 7 from scratch.
Same hardware - same version of windows - same software (for the most part) and same virus scanning (MS only).
Now liberkey installed - immediately said had update 517k to apply.
ALL IS WORKING 100% fine NOW.

I have updated with same plugins and extensions in Firefox and Thunderbird by overwriting from my backup- no issues at all.

Again, Thank you for support - great software solution.
