I just installed the latest patch, and also updated one of the programs which had a newer version (Xmedia Recode).

Now I have LiberKey 5.2.0321 the only problem is, the Liberkey tab with the red and green circle icon is gone. Now there are only the 'recent' and 'most used' tabs visible. Also, the space below is completely blank, there is no tree of programs displayed. All of the folders are still physically present on the USB drive if I look in Windows Explorer. If I go to 'liberkey tools' and click "manage applications," it lists all the 27 programs I have there. If I click 'add-remove programs' it goes through one by one and says it's added them. But they still don't appear in any menu.

When you have time can you send a compressed archive of your folder \LiberKeyTools at this adress ?

Some of your files are corrupted.
You can used backups which are in the folder \LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\Menu\bak.
The last non-corrupted files have the timestamp 2011-03-21.
Rename recent_2011-03-21_13-07-41.xml into recent.xml, default_2011-03-21_23-47-43.xml into default.xml and move them in the parent folder \LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\Menu (with overwriting) .

You should delete the file \LiberKeyTools\LiberKeyMenu\data\Menu\liberkeymenu.xml (wrong place)
Did you move it manually ?

I made the changes you advised, and it is working normally now. Thank you! I don't remember moving the file, but I do recall trying to create a new menu page, which was unsuccessful.

Hello SKYBIRD, I would like to thank you for the easy to follow and effective RECOVERY instructions. You are a real life saver.
I had the same problem as FOFOPUKA. The menu just somehow disappeared and I was able to fully recover it by following you instructions below.
I suggest that a recovery forum topic should be created and your menu recovery instructions should be set as a guide .
