Author's description:ArsClip is a FREE (freeware) utility for the windows clipboard. ArsClip monitors the clipboard and keeps track of the entries. Press a configurable hotkey and select an item (or items) to quickly paste into a program.
- Multiple permanent items groups
- Picture, RichText, File Copy, Unicode, HTML support
- Keypress emulation
- Form Mode for pasting multiple fields
- Highly configurable
My opinion: Arsclip is much more than just a clipboard manager. I have used many different clipboard managers and auto-hotkey type programs over the years, including those already available on Liberkey, and have never found any that are as complete and configurable as Arsclip, and all in one. To me it is the PicPick of clipboard/auto-hotkey programs. Text, pictures, formatted, unformatted, copies from/to any program I have used or make your own to insert.
I have had it in my Liberkey since I first found Liberkey.
To install Arsclip either just copy the Arsclip.exe file from the extracted .zip file to a folder and create a shortcut to it, or it can be installed using Setup.exe in the extracted .zip file. Files created by Arsclip at first run and later are created in the folder Arsclip is installed in. When an update for Arsclip is released, just copy the new Arsclip.exe file into the existing folder. This keeps all of your exsisting settings and items in place.
