LiberKey on Hard Drive

I searched and couldn't find anything on this topic... So sorry if I'm repeating an existing thread. So, I want to install LiberKey onto my hard drive rather than downloading individual applications (especially because it makes update easier and also because LiberKey is a smaller file size than each of the applications individually). Is this a bad idea? are there any precautions? would it work? I'm just looking for information about this idea, before i do it.

I too use Liberkey from my hard drive.
I installed it on the D:\Liberkey instead of C:\Program Files\Liberkey.
This way when I reinstall my XP all my application settings are safe in the D:\ drive and I can go back to using the apps just like before reinstalling. Also the read & write speed of a hard disk are higher than a flash drive. Apps launch faster.
As a matter of fact I am now writing this from the portable Firefox on my D:\Liberkey

I've been using LiberKey exclusively from my system HD till recently, when I decided to move to a portable hard-drive.
if an application can be portable (in the LiberKey catalog, or any other freeware/OS portable application) I install it to my portable HD and run it from there.
it works perfect, and I've got an extensive library that just like terminator1234 doesn't go away when a new system is installed, and always works as it should wherever I take it.
