Hi grumelo,
It is certainly a problem of write access on your LiberKey (typically if it was installed from another user session).
When asuite is launched, the file asuite.xml is copied to ASuiteTemp.xml and asuite works with ASuiteTemp.xml.
When you leave asuite, ASuiteTemp.xml replaces asuite.xml.
In your case, AsuiteTemp.xml is fully writable only because it has been created from you session, the problem comes when it has to replace asuite.xml.
The best way to know if there is a write access problem :
- launch LiberKey
- create a new categorie in MySoftware (
as mentionned by skybird here)
- leave LiberKey and launch it again => if your new categorie is missing, asuite.xml is not writable
Some solutions :
- right click - Properties - Security tab on your LiberKey folder and check if your user has modify and right access
- launch liberkey.exe with admin right
- avoid to install LiberKey in Program Files (could generate problem on seven with the Virtual Store). The best way is to move the LiberKey directory at a root of a drive letter (ex : d:\liberkey)
