Hello johngml,
johngml a écrit:..I get a message saying "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address as the protocol (lbk) isn't associated with any programme". I have gone into Liberkey Tools- KeyFile Assoc and then try and run the KeyFileAssoc.exe but nothing happens even if run as administrator.
With the latest versions, there is no more need to launch KeyFilesAssoc. But the menu itself must be started.
Is this the case in your tests?
When the menu starts, it warns Windows that it manages the lbk protocol.
When that fails, an icon appears in the menu like this:
When the mouse rolls over, it displays the following message:
Do you have this icon/message in your menu?
For information, there are also other ways to add applications in your menu:
Click the "LiberKey Tools" then "Manage Application / Install an application suite".
By doing so, the lbk protocol is not necessary.
To install applications that are not part of the proposed suites, you can download them from the catalog by clicking on "Offline setup". Once downloaded, drop it on the top off the menu's window (on the word "LberKey", or on the big red icon for example). You'll see this message :
Hope this can help you..
