Update failure - Liberkey 5.2

I'm having issues with the latest version of LiberKey (ver. 5.2) - when I attempt to update the program from a USB key the program fails to update the installed applications and the update notification does not remove itself from the menu. When I attempt to run the program from a folder on my computer's harddisk, I get the application update completed message and the update notification icon vanishes from the Liberkey menu.

This has been tried on three different USB drives (a SanDisk Cruiser Blade (4 GB) and Lexar Firefly (8 and 4 GB)) and I have installed the software directly to the drive and copied a successful installation from the c:\LiberKey folder on my harddrive.

Here are my configuration details:

Just following up - I disabled my anti-virus program (Avast Free 6.0) and anti-malware program (PC Tools' Treatfire 4.7.0.48) then attempted to update the version of Liberkey that was installed on the USB key. This time it worked (although why it failed before is still a mystery - it updated properly on the harddrive WITH these programs enabled...)

Guess I'll have to disable these in the future when I want to update the USB drive...

My firewall blocks online update. I did an offline patch (http://www.liberkey.com/en/forums/suppo ... -4696.html) and all is ok now :woohoo:
