Hi,
as the title says after installing .NET 4.5.2 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... aef41695=1) when trying to launch portable Paint.NET program, the LiberKeyPortabilizer.exe refuses to launch it claiming "To work, this program requires installation of Microsoft .NET Framework v4.5."

.NET 4.5.2 is fully backward compatible afaik, which is also proved by the fact that Paint.NET launches fine when ran directly via "LiberKey\Apps\Paint.net\App\Paint.NET\PaintDotNet.exe".

I suppose the portabilizer exe only checks for the exact 4.5 version, I suggest making it check for anything higher than 4.5.0.

Do you have the last version or Portabilizer ? (file version 2.0.0.387)
If not, you maybe need the beta channel activate in order to get it

I'm not sure how to get Liberkey beta, but according to my installed Liberkey it already is 2.0.0.387


The Paint.NET program is latest when I check for updates. The error it produces is this:


When I try to install .NET again it says:
".NET Framework 4.5.2 or a later update is already installed on this computer."

edit: perhaps it checks for 4.5.2 specifically and there's already some 4.6 preview I'm now not entirely sure if that's not installed too (using shared computer)

On XP, the latest versions of Paint.Net are no longer maintained.

Hi, this is all on Windows 7 x64 (as I mentioned the paint.NET runs fine if i run it by hand without the portabilizer but I guess that means the settings will get saved to c:/users instead to liberkey)

To switch the liberkey in beta :

ctrl + left click on the button "liberkey tools"
select "check for updates" and you have the choice "Normal" or "Beta"

Please indicate us the content of your registry, value for "Release" within HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full
