I have v4.7 on my 16Gb USB flash drive now. I downloaded the new v4.8 patch and it said : Unable to apply this update to your LiberKey.
Any idea whats up with that? LiberKey is full of awesome tools! TY, Jiff9

Can you check if you have a file named version.txt in your LiberKey root folder ?

I had the same problem with the first LiberKey I tried to upgrade. I closed the message and tried again and it worked
For the second LiberKey instance, I closed KeyFileAssoc (started with LiberKey) before applying updates and didn't have any message.
The message may have something to do with KeyFileAssoc running...

yes i do have file, version.txt it states:

I already had tried stopping LiberKey and adding the update manually. I tried with file ass. on and off only to get the same message. TY

Try to apply the offline patch with your LiberKey totally off (no apps or liberkey tools which running)

I tried that already. I downloaded the link you posted and tried again. I even tried ejecting the flash drive, reinserting and then applying the patch. No Luck.

Which OS, UAC activated ? Which antivirus ? Try to deactivate both or run patch as administrator

Uncompress and copy it in your LiberKey root folder (with overwriting)

YO it worked i extracted the files directly into the LiberKey folder from the link you provided. Thank You so much for the help my friends. Highly appreciated! LiberKey is the best to date! However I'm still having I problem with the Splash Background error message. what it is it? i posted a subject in the support forum about it. any idea's?
