Use FreeCommander by default instead of Win Explorer? How could I replace the use of Windows Explorer with the use of FreeComander: so, instead of having the Explorer opened by default, I would like to have FreeCommander opened by default. E.g. when I right-click on an application in the menu of LiberKey and click in the contex menu "Show application`s folder, instead of Explorer FreeCommander should open. Or I double click a folder in Explorer, then FreeCommander shall open.
Can I do it somehow with "Key File Associations"? Operating systems: Vista, Win 7, XP Windows 10 Version 6.2 (Build 9200) Home, 64bit

Re: Use FreeCommander by default instead of Win Explorer?Have a careful look at http://www.forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?t=1273
Only works for locally installed Liberkey (on a physical drive, not on an usb key) Moreover, this way is not supported by the team, as you change windows registry and particularly explorer.exe bahavior, do at your own risk !! P.S : this is not a portable way to use freecommander... "Si boire des coups, aller au concert ou au match, ça devient un combat

Re: Use FreeCommander by default instead of Win Explorer? Many thanks Dji,
Yes, this posting I had found already, but I am unsure, whether this way is useful for Windows 7 / Vista. I have LiberKey running on a hard disk (because of the unacceptable speed running it on an USB-stick / card), but it would be good (e.g. for downloading e-mails) to also have the possibility to run it on an external medium. And additionally it would be more comfortable when you could set it somewhere in LiberKey like it is done with the File Association application. And may be damaging the Registry isn't.... Thanks again, nice greetings, Dirk Windows 10 Version 6.2 (Build 9200) Home, 64bit
