Hi all!

Using Liberkey and very happy so far. Today I received the usual message about updates: "updates are available for your applications. Click here"

But after a while, a dialog diaplays: "An error occured while trying to recover information about available Liberkey updates. Do you have access to internet on this computer?"

Internet is up and running and all firewalls disabled.


Any suggestion?

If your message occured at startup, it is possible that Liberkey starts before your network (particularly if you are using wifi) and asks you for an update (because it detects one in its local database, not because it checks for it using internet) before the network really starts.

No. Not at Startup. Long time after I started I tried manually updating but to no avail.

Are you behind an ISA proxy ? If yes, Liberkey is not yet compatible with it.

No. No proxy, no firewall, no blocking. I'm a happy user of Liberkey for almost a year an suddenly it stops updating. Same PC, same Windows 7, same all.

a quick solution is installing updates through offline patches did you try that?

yes, I'm updating through offline patches but....that makes no sense of the on-line update feature
