The fact that issues like this continue without being addressed, placing users' systems at risk is nothing short of appalling. I removed Liberkey from my personal systems and so did many others under the direction of those of us who know something of software development. Portableapps.com does not take a vacation. Their portable apps are continuously updated. If you want a truly secure system, switch from Windows to Linux.

What a lot of alarmist propaganda for nothing. I've read a lot of this from you in many subjects without any technical merit whatsoever. Do you work for portableapps by any chance, trying to downgrade liberkey's reputation?? (i'm trying to be polite here but rapidly losing my cool) Updated applications often introduce new problems after they have fixed the old ones. It's called real life.

I've been developing software for 30 years and have no problems with LiberKey. I obviously know how to use software properly. Put your money where your mouth is and prove it or back off and stop whining.

Liberkey is a good program, but only if the updates come everytime. I don't like portableapps.com as much as liberkey, but the updates came always. So I think, I will change to portableapps.com.
Portableapps is much better than it used to be. I run both liberkey and portableapps side by side on my drive so that I get the best of both. I've done that for a few years, since back before liberkey made their own apps portable and used to use portableapps' apps and the native portable versions of things like ccleaner with asuite as the menu. I used to use a few winpenpack, framakey and lupo pensuite apps, but none of them update well or work well anymore. Most of the time now, I use portableapps' apps as they just seem to work better with less bugs and more frequent updates and just fire up liberkey for an app that only it has and portableapps doesn't. But there's only a few apps that I do that for now and I don't use them that much.
I think liberkey is more of a hobby project than portableapps is, that may be one reason portableapps' apps are always more up to date. I also like that portableapps has no ads flashing at you.
Hi, I'm a newbie to LiberKey. Is it possible to put Portableapps and Liberkey under the same root folder of a usb drive without messing up each other? I mean, under the X:\ there will be [Documents] [PortableApps] Autorun.inf Start.exe these are of portableapps.com
and, [Apps] [LiberKeyTools] [MyApps] [MyDocuments] LiberKey.exe license.txt readme.txt these are of Liberkey
Is it Ok to put them in the same root directory without messing up the two? I really want to have the best of both. Thanks in advance!
