Running Lbk4xTo50.exe in the root of my LiberKey drive returns the error titled: LiberKey updater v1.0.14, with the text:
An error occured while attempting to move the folder LBK_50_PLATFORM\LiberKeyTools
Please check that this folder is not currently open by windows explorer and that it contains no application running.

There are no locks on any files or folders in the drive. I have checked with a copy of Unlocker that is not running off the liberkey drive immediately before running the Lbk4xTo50.exe file, and there are no locks of any kind on the drive.

There are no read only files on the drive. I have reset them all to read write.

The filesystem of the drive is FAT32.

I have tried to run this under both Windows XP SP3 32bit and Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

Have you got a directory LBK_MIGRATION_BACKUP in MyDocuments ?

If yes, could you give us the content of the file update.log (present in LBK_MIGRATION_BACKUP) ?

Same Error here.
I have not a directory LBK_MIGRATION_BACKUP in MyDocuments and not a file update.log

I had a similar problem. I got around it by manually creating the folders when it could not create them automatically.

The 2 folders it could not create were:
\MyDocuments\LBK_MIGRATION_BACKUP
\MyDocuments\LBK_MIGRATION_BACKUP\Apps
