I know different icons was already discussed in another [url=/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4130]thread[/url], but my request comes from a different direction.

Here also I would like to run two paralele environments, but in this case one is permanent on the desktop, and one on portable (detachable) media.

Why? Portable apps survive a system reinstallation just by preseving the folder they reside, and thus are a better solution then regular installation, and (now) management is easy (with great software like LiberKey 5).

But there are some aspects of the system that I must have with me at all times, here comes the portable version.
Different themes allow to distinguish between different instances of the menu, but the icon is still the same.

Suggestions:
1. Make the icon a part of the theme, this way the icon can change when replacing theme.
2. Add an overlay symbol that can be used to distinguish between different session - the symbol can be "hand-picked" by the user or be automatic, like drive letter, or instance count or maybe differrentiate between portable media and permanent media.

Hope you find this use case relevant.
