How could I make FreeFileSync start again?

Delete the mentioned file (or at least the corresponding section in the config file) and start FreeFileSync again. There were a format compatibility issue between a very old release of FreeFileSync and the current one

That doesn't help, unfortunately. FFS still cannot be opened. And I would have to delete all of these batch files and all of the FFS gui files, they all do not work anymore.

After deleting the mentioned file (GlabalSettings.xml) in that message, the same message appears again.
