Description: The qBittorrent project aims to provide a Free Software alternative to uTorrent. Additionally, qBittorrent runs and provides the same features on all major platforms (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, OS/2, FreeBSD). qBittorrent is based on Qt4 toolkit and libtorrent-rasterbar.

My opinion: I switched away from uTorrent due to the ads. I have personally tested it on Windows 7 Pro x64 and found no problems. I find it very familiar and as easy to use. I initially got this from PortableApps.com so I think this can be "portabilized". I hope this gets approved so that I dont have to worry about manually updating it.

I also felt bad when I saw Ads in μTorrent, but found out the simple method of getting rid of it which I have provided here.

To get rid of the Ads and have a clean interface just go to Options > Preferences > Advanced and find "offers.left_rail_offer_enabled" and "offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled". Set them both to "false" and you're done.
