Here is the mistake. In this way, KFA is bypassed.

Do not set Firefox as default browser.
Clean your registry and delete the new profile (Documents and Settings \ ... \ Application Data \ Mozilla).

1. Uncheck Firefox as my default browser
2. Close Firefox and Kfa
3. In the Registry delete the following keys
Code: Select all
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.shtml]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.xht]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.xhtml]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\FirefoxHTML]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\FirefoxURL]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\HTTP\shell\open\ddeexec\Application]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\HTTP\shell\open\ddeexec\Topic]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\https\shell\open\ddeexec\Application]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\https\shell\open\ddeexec\Topic]

4. Start again KFA
