[Solved] Suite File Associations

Messagede Skarn » 11 Janvier 2012, 07:12

I lost the file associations for my Liberkey Ultimate suite folder.
Can any one post theirs? or let me know how I can rebuild the file associations.
I still have all the apps and they work fine.

Thanks

File associations are backed up in folder LiberKeyTools\KeyFileAssoc\bak
Try the lastes one, and if doesn't work, the one before, and so on until it works

Nope, no good, none of the xml files in the backup folder have a full set.
The problem first occurred that all the associations became French for some reason, and the English option didn't appear properly or work.
I reinstalled Liberkey over my current folder and now I have no associations.

Here's what I did to fix my problem.
1. Renamed my current LiberyKey folder
2. installed the base LiberKey application again
3. Moved all the folders in my old Apps folder into the new empty Apps folder
4. Liberkey Tools > Manage Applications > Add/Remove > Add Applications button > "From Apps folder"

Liberkey reregistered all the Apps and this also restored the file associations.
I possibly could have even just done Step 4 from the start.
