Refresh LiberKey Menu and LiberKey File Associations

Postby mlf176f2 » 09 May 2012, 21:57

Is there any way to refresh the LiberKey Menu and LiberKey File associations. I wrote a NSIS program to update the XML for each of these programs, but am unsure how to make LiberKey Menu and LiberKey File Associations to update from the command line.

You should not update them when Liberkey Menu (or Key File Assoc) run

I don't check. I update them, and then when I restart the applications the menu/associations are in place.

The reason of my previous answer is that Liberkey Menu overwrites the file at closure time, consequently if you update it during Liberkey Menu runs, the changes you've made will be lost when the menu close.

Hm. I guess I will have to figure out a way to close the applications before updating, and then re-opening them. Is there any way to update the file menu without updating the XML, or is that currently unsupported.

Unfortunately, your requested option does not exist (yet)
