lksplash.exe isn't closed and consumes huge memory (increasing)I have the latest LiberKey and tested it on couple of machines. On all machines, LkSplash.exe isn't closed when LiberKey runs and it starts to consume increasing memory. After 1 hour it can get to 1GB RAM! When I tried to rename LkSplash.exe to something else, when LiberKey is displayed the error: "Cannot run Close Splash screen (silent)". When I try to launch it from the menu it doesn't stop LkSplash.exe also.
Re:lksplash.exe isn't closed and consumes huge memory (increasing)Hello soguyso and welcome to the forum.
Did you apply the patch which add unicode support to LiberKey 4.4 ? You should have the number 20090903115547 at the end of version.txt file (in the root of your LiberKey installation). I need some more information, Operating System Language, Version, full path to the LiberKey.exe (ex : c:\Mysoft\Liberkey). Thanks
Re:lksplash.exe isn't closed and consumes huge memory (increasing)Hi,
I'm currently using Win7 RTM 64bit English and the path (on hard disk) to LiberKey is: . I applied the patch and have the exact version you mentioned. I had the same error on USB drive on the same machine and on several WinXP SP3 machines.
Re:lksplash.exe isn't closed and consumes huge memory (increWe have just released a new patch.
It should solve the problem (UTF8 support has been improved). Let me know if it now works for you.
Re:lksplash.exe isn't closed and consumes huge memory (increasing)Thanks! It works!
Did I help in some way or was it a known bug? BTW, Why don't you have an English forum section also?
Re:lksplash.exe isn't closed and consumes huge memory (increasing)Great !
Yes, you help a lot, it was specific to your language. Now it is fixed. The English forum will be available soon. Before, we need to release LiberKey 4.5 (normally tomorrow) Thanks for your feed-back.
Re:lksplash.exe isn't closed and consumes huge memory (increasing)Thanks.
One more question before the English forum is opened: Is there any option to reset settings/personalizations for all applications anyhow?
