Move some apps to a truecrypt container

Postby 220v110 » 06 June 2015, 14:00

I want to move thunderbird and chrome to another folder (truecrypt container), keeping file associations. I installed these apps and moved them to Q:\ plus copied LiberKeyPortabilizer folder to Q:\.

How do I replace original shortcuts in LiberkeyMenu so that they work with moved apps? If I change shortcut path, the description disappears.

Hello.

To use applications in a TrueCryt contener the best way seems me create a new empty Liberkey in the TrueCryt volume and just use it for the apps you move in Apps (or in MyApps if they aren't in Liberkey's catalog of apps).
You simply have don't use the two Liberkey at the same moment.

If I can't use 2 liberkey instances at the same time, how can I use file associations?

With two Liberkey, as if you have for example one on a PC and another one on an USB Key , each one has his own shortcuts, and files associations are independent : each has his keyfileassoc.xml, but you can configure KFA'assocs to open .html with Chrome on each one, as you can configure .eml with Thunderbird.

I have 2 instances:
1. with firefox and thunderbird in truecrypt container
2. with notepad++ and another 100+ apps in another place

How can I use both associations at the same time?
